CIS works with K – 5th grade students to help with academic engagement, literacy help, homework completion, nutrition, and after-school care. CIS serves class sizes of approximately 15 – 20 students. We are aiming to work with 115 students during the 2017-2018 After School Program, providing 30 minutes for snack, 30 minutes for homework help, 30 minutes for literacy lessons, and 30 minutes of physical activities at our program site, the old Charles Evans Elementary School building (611 Maxwell Ave NW). The 2017 – 2018 After School Program will occur from September 11, 2017 and will conclude May 24, 2018, running from 3:00 – 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. The students are bused from their school to Charles Evans, and can be picked up at Charles Evans anytime between 5:00 – 5:30 PM.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ENROLLING YOUR STUDENT FOR THE CURRENT AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM, PLEASE CALL HALEY LOUTHEN, JENNIFER DOBY, OR MARY LANE PORTER AT (580) 223 – 8762.
